About Figa

Species scientific name: Alouatta caraya
Age/sex: Infant male
Likes: Sleeping
Special skills: Best cuddles
Best friend: His mum

This little one is the infant to adult female Azuara. He is still very young and very small, so he’s always attached to his mom. Figa loves a good cuddle as he drifts off to sleep. When he is not napping, you can catch him using her like a jungle gym and climbing all over her when he fancies playing.

He is part of the group we call the Factory group. This group lives on the grounds of the Pilar cotton factory. You can often find this group in the gardens of the homes that surround the factory in the General Diaz neighborhood. He lives in this group with seven other individuals of all ages, which all typically like to hang out in the trees surrounding a pond on the property. It’s high up in the trees that surround the pond where he can cuddle his mom and look out over the Arroyo Ñeembucú!

You can adopt Figa for one year for £50.
