Azuara is one of the gentlest monkeys. The way she interacts with the other members of her group is so nurturing and sweet. It seems that she is the ‘mom’ of the group for everyone, not just her little one. Generally, she is quite patient, but is particularly patient with her baby.
Azuara is an adult female who is a part of the group we call the ‘factory’ group. This group lives on the grounds of the Pilar cotton factory. You may often find this group in the gardens of the homes that surround the factory in the General Diaz neighborhood. She lives in this group with seven other individuals of all ages, who all typically like to hang out in the trees surrounding a pond on the property. It’s here that Azuara snuggles her baby high up in the trees where she can look upon the Arroyo Ñeembucú!
